Foam Proportioning System

Atmospheric storage tanks are used with Inline Foam Inductor, Balance Pressure Foam Proportioner and Inline Balance Pressure Foam Proportioning system. Tanks are custom made in stainless steel (304 or 316) or carbon steel material. All tanks can be supplied with inspection hatch, ladder, vent valve, level gauge, etc. As the tanks are custom-made it is necessary to specify and confirm list of accessories needed. Foam storage tanks are suitable for storing synthetic AFFF, alcohol-resistant AFFF or fluoroprotein foam concentrates.

Foam Bladder Tanks offer a reliable and simpler method of foam proportioning. Bladder Tank system includes a pressure-rated tank with an internal rubber bladder. Upon system actuation, incoming water applies pressure to the rubber bladder, which supplies pressurized foam concentrate to the proportioning device (ratio controller). The foam ratio controller meters the foam concentrate into the fire water line, creating foam solution. The solution is then piped to the discharge devices protecting the hazard area. Bladder tanks are available in horizontal and vertical mounting with a completely pre-piped option.  Foam Bladder Tanks carry UL, FM and CE Approvals.  Portable inductors series IE225 and IE450 are designed primarily for use in the manual firefighting operation to provide a simple and reliable method of proportioning in constant flow applications. Each Inductor is designed for a pre-determined water pressure to give the correct proportioning at that pressure and discharge rate.  Portable inductors are FM Approved.

Inline Balance Pressure Foam Proportioner (ILBP) is used with positive displacement foam concentrate supply pump. The system controls accurate flow of foam concentrate into the water stream over a wide range of flow rate and pressure.

ILBP is used for simultaneous operation of the multiple foam injections even with different pressures between the two injection points with a single concentrate supply line. Various sizes of inline balance pressure proportioners can be combined to suit the flow requirement of each hazard area. Inline Balance Pressure Foam Proportioner is UL Listed.
